LRT in Malaysia - What a mess!

2 weeks ago, I attended a 2 days training course in KL, the training center is about 10 mins walking distance from the hotel that i stayed. However, we girls, you know lah, dun really like to walk so far, especially with high heals, therefore, someone suggested that we can go by LRT...which to me...ended up to be a stupid mistake!

What a mess~~!!!

The different lines are managed by different company! For example, Kelana Jaya Line (previously known as Putra Line) is operated by Rapid KL Train Service while KL Sentral to Titiwangsa Line is operated by another company KL Monorail. And there are another company, KTM Komputer which is in charged of Sentul to Port Klang and Rawang to Seremban Lines!

Different LRT line to be operated by several company, which means that we will have different facility, different LRT station, even different fees cost!

Imagine, if you are going to KLCC from Plaza Rakyat (where I stayed), you will have to go Mesjid Jamek, and then get out from the station, cross a road, to reach another station of Kelana Jaya Line and get in the train to KLCC. Kind of stupid to me!

There is only one station away from my hotel to the training center. However, it is very difficult for us to find the exact entrance to the LRT station if not with the help from a pedestrian. After buying the ticket, we have to ask for the direction to the platform coz there is no signboard telling us which way to go! I dun want to end up in going to the other wrong direction! Remember: You have to ask! If not, you will never find the correct way as there is no single signboard to lead you to the place that you want to go~ even on the platform!

OMG...

Malaysia Boleh? I doubt it.......
